Gen X-ers everywhere scratch their heads and do the math. (Or so claims an article in my local suck-ass newspaper, The Ann Arbor Daily.)
Honestly, I did have a "huh" moment and smile fondly on the memories of 16 year old me in all my "alternative" glory, when I couldn't decide if I was more into all-black clothes and weird eyeliner or tie-dye and Guatemalan hemp accesories. Man, did we have fun at Lollapalooza. Ice-T and "Cop Killa", Jane's Addiction and "Been Caught Stealin'", and Red Hot Chili Peppers, "Give It Away Now". Good times, good times.
The best quote of the article, though, as apparently Lollapalooza is rescurrected this year: "Unlike the first Lollapalooza, this is a family-friendly show. Do the math. Gen X has kids now."
