Flying Food

I know that every baby goes through the "food throwing stage"---something to do with them learning object permanence or the laws of physics or something---and I try to be patient when JD cleans his plate by tossing everything on it down to the floor...

...but the dog is getting fat and the wall looks like a Spin-Art project. This stage is getting old, fast. JD doesn't just toss his food, he launches it. Lobs it. Flings it. Chucks it over his shoulder without so much as a backwards glance.

That little shyster has even developed an elaborate "Fake-Out" move, in which he picks up, say, a bit of banana in his right hand, and brings it to his open mouth, all wide-eyed "Who Me?" innocence. Then, quicker than you can say "NO", he snatches it out with his left hand and jettisons it off into the great abyss. And then he grins at you, just as pleased as pleased could be.

At least someone is enjoying mealtimes. Well, two are... Shank is also quite delighted by JD's newest talent.
