Oh crap, my 21 month son's new go-to exclamation of dismay is "Oh, crap!" Well, more like, "OH, caaahp". Suprisingly recognizable (much to my dismay) even to those unfamiliar w/ JD's unique dialect.
But the funniest part is, he uses it with alarming contextual precision. Open the cabinet and a box of Joe's O's comes tumbling out at you? "Oh CAAAHP!" Drop your cookie and have it snatched up by the dog? "Oh caaahp." Hear that bedtime is upon you? That's right... "OH CAAAHP."
Oh my. I've been encouraging him to substitute the more subtle, yet equally emphatic, "Oh, No!", but apparently that's not edgy enough for JD. He has a way with words.
