Last night I went to change JD's diaper, and when I opened it, I gasped to see a weird, scary, reddish-purpley, oozy, bump right near JD's little winky.
Upon closer inspection, it was a smooshed blueberry.
I laughed out loud, remembering my friend (who is a pediatrician) telling me a story about opening up a young patient's diaper and being likewise taken aback by a weird, brown thing found inside. "What is that?", she wondered aloud. The mom looked, and responded, "Oh, just a piece of sausage from breakfast."
::wiping tears from my eyes:: Classic. But I would love to know, how in God's name does that stuff end up inside their diapers??
