They tell you that, no matter how grossed out you are by poop; no matter how absolutely, god-awful disgusting you think it is; no matter how stinky and slimy it is; how yellow, green, or brown; how thick, how clumpy, how runny... no matter what, when it's YOUR BABY'S poop, all nausea will fade, all gagging cease; you will not shudder, grimace, hold your nose; your eyes won't tear up, your throat won't close...
They lie. Poop is disgusting. Wiping butts is gross. And that's the truth.
